Scottish Energy Minister, Fergus Ewing has announced a £5 million pound boost to the Home Renewables loan Scheme, which, from August this year can support households by offering up to £10000 loans for installing renewable heat technologies such as Biomass boilers and Solar Thermal panels.
The announcement came on the same day that the Scottish Government launched its Microgeneration Strategy for Scotland document which details the support and ambitions the Scottish Government has in developing renewable technologies.
