Ofgem has confirmed today the feed-in tariff (FiT) rates for solar photovoltaic technology beginning February 1, 2013. The rates will remain the same as they have been since 1 st November at 15.44p until at least May next year.
With 4kW systems costing from £5200 to install and on south facing roofs the annual total financial benefit being circa £800, solar PV remains an excellent investment both financially and environmentally.
The new FiT rates, as of 1 February, 2013, will be as follows:
