The boiler has a manually fed hopper which holds 400kg of pellets for reduced loading frequency. The boiler requires ash removal every 8 weeks and manual cleaning every 2 to 3 months. Hot water is provided directly from the thermal store together with 2 heating circuits incorporating weather compensated control.
