2.67 The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) settlement includes:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n capital provision for investment in innovative energy projects and \u00a35.3 billion <\/span>funded through energy bills, to enable investment in renewable energy and other projects, and to address fuel poverty; and<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>funding of up to \u00a3430 million for the Renewable Heat Incentive, with proposed <\/span><\/em><\/strong>new tariffs and a higher budget cap to encourage increased take up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This is supported by <\/em><\/strong>a commitment to provide up to \u00a37.6 billion (in 2012 prices) in support for low-carbon <\/em><\/strong>generation by 2020-21. In 2015-16, the Government will provide \u00a35.3 billion through the Levy <\/em><\/strong>Control Framework, which will include funding for low-carbon energy generation projects. This <\/em><\/strong>will support the development of the UK manufacturing supply chain and provide incentives for <\/em><\/strong>investment in this sector.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 2.69<\/em> The Government remains committed to investing in low-carbon energy projects.
