Lothian Renewables have attended a comprehensive training course, covering the new Dimplex A class air source heat pump recently introduced to the market and are now authorised to fit the units
The units, available in 8, 12 and 16kW outputs have been designed specifically for the UK market and climate. Unlike competitors products the Dimplex unit have been designed specifically as a heat pump and are not modified air conditioning units.
The A Class incorporates Enhanced Vapour Technology which results in full temperature output down to -7 degrees outside temperature.
Dimplex emphasise the importance of correct system design and commissioning and will only supply the new units to full trained and authorised businesses. It is estimated that a large proportion of existing systems have been poorly designed and commissioned and Dimplex supply to fully trained and approved companies.
